All students enrolled in Montgomery Public Schools in the upcoming school year will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost. The system is participating in a state and federal program called the Community Eligible Provision of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act.

There are no forms for parents to fill out. Students will continue to use their student numbers at checkout for each meal, but no funds will be needed in the student’s account unless they want extra food items. Students will be charged for any additional items, like an extra milk or entrée.

Additional student meals will be charged the established price of $1.00 for student breakfast, $1.75 for Elementary student lunch. A la carte item prices will also remain the same as last year.

Faculty meals will remain $1.75 for breakfast and $2.75 for lunch. Adult visitor meals will remain $2.50 for breakfast and $3.75 for lunch. Cash Only.

Breakfast will be available for those who choose to eat at school. Students may arrive at school at 7:30 a.m. – 8:05 a.m. to eat in the lunchroom.

Each student has an assigned Personal Identification Number (Pin) which will be the same as long as he/she is registered at Dannelly. Students will give their Pin to the cashier as they exit the lunch line.

The lunchroom is a non-profit business that follows USDA guidelines. Fast food lunches (Krystal, Hardees, McDonald’s etc.) and canned or bottled soft drinks are NOT allowed to be consumed in the lunchroom. Students who bring lunch from home are not to bring sodas or carbonated drinks to the lunchroom to drink with their lunch.
